Spinal Cord Injury healed!

I had a spinal cord injury on 5th January 2009 and was down on account of progressive weakness in all my limbs and eventual paralysis following an accident in which a heavy object fell on my neck while at work at Currency Management, Treasury Office, Central Bank of Nigeria. (CBN)

I was taken to several hospitals while my condition deteiorated. I could not shake or move my hands and legs, neither could I sit, stand or turn in any direction. I could not feed myself or take my bath except with the help of my wife, who stood by me throughout my ordeal. MRI tests confirmed the damage in the spine as the cord had been clipped together, preventing blood flow.

The doctors told me I would require an operation and even if the operation was successful, I will never sit and walk again. I was discharged from St. Nicholas hospital, and placed on a diet of fruits and vegetables. A second test at LASUTH hospital confirmed earlier diagnosis. I was completely devastated. The thought of not being able to sit and walk again, being bedridden and seeing my children feel sorry for my condition was too much for me to bear.

I decided to call on Pastor Taiye Olayemi who stood by me financially and spiritually. He encouraged me to trust in the Lord and told me to believe God for a miracle. I told the doctor to go ahead with the operation as I found renewed hope that my God is alive. Pastor prayed for me, fed me Holy Communion as He declared God's word against the doctors' report.

Suddenly, there was a turn around in my condition. What the doctors never expected happenned. My dry bones rose just as is in the bible! Halleluyah!! I am alive, walking, hail and hearty once again. The Lord has again proven that He alone is God and if we believe His Prophets, miracles will abound. Praise The Lord!!!
